Terms of Service & Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
These Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (together, the “Terms”) apply to your access to and use of ourfutureunited.org and any other websites, mobile applications, and online offerings (collectively, the “Site”) provided by Our Future United (the “Committee,” “we,” or “us”), including our text message program. They explain the rules for using the Site and how we collect, use, and protect your information. By accessing or using the Site, or by opting in to our text messages, you agree to these Terms and any terms incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site.
Text message program
Consent to receive text messages
By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to be contacted by or on behalf of Our Future United at the provided mobile number. This includes text messages about Committee updates and news, donation requests, advocacy actions, volunteer opportunities and event invitations, and voting reminders and polling place information. Message frequency varies, and standard message and data rates may apply.
We only send text messages to people who have given us express written consent. You can opt in by checking the unchecked SMS consent box on the sign-up form on our Site, or by otherwise providing your mobile number along with your agreement to receive text messages from us. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of volunteering, donating, or any other participation in the Committee’s activities.
Opting out
To stop receiving text messages, reply with the word STOP. We may confirm your opt-out by text message. After you opt out, you will no longer receive text messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time.
Help and support
For help, reply HELP to any message. For support or assistance, please email us at info@ourfutureunited.org.
Carriers and delivery
Carriers, including T-Mobile, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless service provider and is outside our control.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian, and be the account holder or have the account holder’s permission for the mobile number you provide.
How we use and share text messaging data
We use the mobile number and opt-in information you provide only to send you the text messages you signed up for, to manage your subscription (including honoring opt-out requests), and to respond to your questions and requests for help.
Text messaging originator opt-in data will not be shared with any third party, except: (1) with vendors, consultants and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf (and who will not use such information for their own purposes); or (2) if we believe disclosure is required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation or to comply with law enforcement or legal process. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our sign-up form, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number and ZIP code, along with the ways you told us you would like to help and whether you consented to receive text messages.
Contribution information. If you contribute, our donation processor collects the information needed to process your payment and to meet federal campaign finance reporting requirements, such as your name, mailing address, employer, and occupation. We do not store your full payment card details.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, in order to operate and secure the Site.
How we use your information
We use your information for the following purposes:
• To send you the updates, donation requests, advocacy actions, volunteer opportunities, event invitations, and voting information you signed up to receive.
• To follow up about how you told us you would like to help, including volunteer shifts, events, and yard signs.
• To process and acknowledge contributions.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Site.
• To comply with applicable law, including federal campaign finance reporting.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are shared only as described under “How we use and share text messaging data” above. Other information is shared only in these limited circumstances:
Service providers. We use trusted vendors to run the Committee’s operations, such as our form and email providers, our text message provider, our donation processor, and our website host. They may process your information only to provide services to us, and not for their own purposes.
Legal and campaign finance requirements. We report contributor information to the Federal Election Commission as federal law requires (see “Contributions” below), and these reports are made public. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of others.
Committee volunteers and staff. Authorized volunteers and staff may access contact information as needed to carry out Committee activities, such as calling or texting supporters about upcoming events.

By contributing, you confirm that:
1. You are a United States citizen or a lawfully admitted permanent resident (green card holder).

5. You are making this contribution on your own behalf and not on behalf of any other person.
6. You are not making this contribution with a corporate or business credit card, or a card issued to another person.

This information is publicly reported and cannot be withdrawn from public records.
